The final week...
Well, this is my last week on the Cape for this summer. Appropriately enough, I will be returning to the "mainland" at the time of the fall equinox...having very happily spent the entire summer on the Cape. Thankfully, we do not close up the house for the off-season, and can return here for shorter visits at any time. It has been a wonderful summer, full of family & friends, walks & talks, and ample time for thought, reading and creativity. I think my two greatest accomplishments have been my walk along the Cape Cod National Seashore and the creation of this blog; two things which I have wanted to do for a long time...and now they are done! I already miss Sunday morning worship at the beach - prayer, praise and song in God's natural sanctuary. I look forward to being here again next summer, God willing, and pray that I can keep the warmth and glow of summer in my heart always.

Oh, Janice, sorry you have to leave your beautiful spot,
but so glad you can return when time permits.
May you find new doors opening for you as you return to your winter "nest", and I look forward to meeting you for lunch sometime soon!
They say all good things come to an end,but for Janice it will only be months till the good times roll again.
You have a way with words! I love to read your blog. I cant wait to be able to see the Cape and bring the kids :)
Much love
Kim
